Couples Retreat
One of the best kept secrets of High House, your secluded cottage, the 'Couples Retreat’ is tucked away within its own secret garden. You’ll enter via an enchanting solid oak door and are greeted by the beautiful cottage standing proudly amongst a pretty cottage garden and flowers.
Offering a sumptuous bedroom with freestanding bath and en-suite, cosy lounge and kitchen, this is the perfect place for a relaxing escape and total privacy on your wedding night.

Frequently asked questions about the onsite accommodation at High House.

Yes, when you book High House for your wedding day, you will have access to the couple’s retreat within your booking.

You’ll be able to host a total of 27 guests across the Farmhouse (10 double and 1 single room), the Courtyard (2 double rooms) and the Couples Retreat (1 double room). Please see our accommodation brochure for more details.

5 of the bedrooms in the farmhouse are able to accommodate one additional bed or cot, which we can provide at £20.00 per bed/cot, including breakfast.

Spring 2024. Couples are able to reserve the accommodation from July 2024. For those wishing to book the farmhouse in May and June, your request will be subject to confirmation of the renovation completion date, which we’ll keep you updated on.
