High House wins 'Wedding Venue of the Year - Something Different' at the Essex Wedding Awards 2017!

We are absolutely delighted to have won 'Wedding Venue of the Year - Something Different' at the Essex Wedding Awards 2017! It is such an honour for us to be considered so highly by the industry and it is all thanks to our amazing team.

We do genuinely believe that we offer a different approach to other venues. Being family run we are able to offer an attention to detail like no other and aim to provide couples with the best wedding day possible in the grounds of our family home.

The comments from the judges as to why we won are:

''Judges felt that this family run venue, set in 6.5 acres of beautiful grounds was the perfect “Something Different” winner, from their flower-filled pergola as an aisle and thatched Gazebo to a Monet inspired bridge over the pond for wonderful photographs. Judges commented that the mix of interesting features alongside a professional team to support the couples and their wedding party, made them the ideal winner this year.''
