We know how special it is to include your dog in your wedding day, and at High House, we're happy to make this a reality. You’re welcome to have your dog involved in your ceremony as part of the wedding party, standing proudly by your side or even playing the role of a “best man” or “flower dog.” They can be part of the magic, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our venue offers a stunning, pet-friendly setting for your ceremony, whether you choose the Thatched Gazebo overlooking our picturesque lake or the rustic elegance of our Essex Barn. We want your wedding to reflect your personality, so having your dog there to share in the moment can make it feel even more complete.
Important Guidelines for Pets at High House
While we adore dogs and are happy to welcome them as part of your ceremony, we do have a few guidelines to ensure the smooth running of your big day:
- Only dogs of the married couple can be included as part of the ceremony. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate other pets or additional animals at the ceremony.
- Pets can only be included during the ceremony and on the grounds during the drinks reception. Afterward, they are not permitted to stay at the accommodation or remain for the evening celebrations.
- Please ensure your dog is comfortable and well-behaved during the ceremony. We recommend having a handler or trusted person available to look after your pet before and after the ceremony to ensure everything runs smoothly.
